Job summary

T-Mobile USA, Inc. is seeking a Network Technician to support sites along Highway 50 from Folsom to Lake Tahoe.

This role focuses on maintaining and improving network performance and reliability, with responsibilities spanning technical support, small project management, and process improvements. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in field operations and wireless telecom, plus a Bachelor's or equivalent and knowledge of 5G NR, backhaul, and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
• Acceptable areas of study include Vocational/Technical Training or related field (Preferred)
• 2-4 years Working experience in Field Operations and maintenance (Preferred)
• 2-4 years Wireless telecommunications or other related experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts
• Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required
• Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management
• Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians
• Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
