Job summary

Hawkins Inc in Lufkin, TX seeks a Technical Sales Representative (Route Sales) to own a defined territory, manage schedules, and deliver solutions to customers. The role blends sales, service, and hands-on product handling with paid on-the-job training.

You will travel the territory, call on customers, and contribute to safety, satisfaction and sales growth. Most days are in the field with extended hours and occasional overnight routes; evenings at home.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and follow-through.
• Prior sales experience or the ability to learn.
• Basic computer and math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Call on existing and new customers to grow business through sales efforts and technical support of chemical products and equipment.
• Develop productive relationships with customers.
• Safely deliver chemical and other products to customers in a company truck.
• Provide hands-on service of equipment and inspect/repair/adjust chemical feed equipment.
• Support branch operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory.
