Job summary

Zatkoff Seals & Packings, Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to leverage technical product knowledge and customer insight to grow sales in the assigned territory across the United States.

This full-time outside sales role offers a draw plus commission, profit sharing, a company vehicle, phone, and a comprehensive benefits package. The position requires up to 100% travel and a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 5 years of field sales experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Formal sales training and 5 years of field sales experience.
• Knowledge of rubber and plastic materials and applications.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network of sources for new sales leads.
• Identifies customer needs and presents products to meet them.
• Works with customers to create solutions using seals and related products.
• Demonstrates product value based on customer needs.
• Develops regional sales strategies and executes them.
• Negotiates prices, terms, and bids with clients.
• Collaborates with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing.
• Reports sales results and account status to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
