Job summary

Midco is seeking a Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot services for residential and business customers. You’ll work with cutting-edge fiber technology to deliver top-notch customer experiences and value, with paid training and a clear path for advancement.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and completion of Midco's FTR certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; DUI within past 5 years disqualifies.
• Complete Midco First Time Right (FTR) certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical evaluations of commercial properties for service feasibility and cost. (keep within 140 chars)
• Perform installation tasks including voice, video, and data services at homes and businesses.
• Troubleshoot and repair services from the tap to CPE and ensure signal quality.
• Log work orders and coordinate with Field Operations and Business Services.
• Mentor teammates and cross-train on additional services.
