Job summary

Midco is seeking a Field Technician in Minnesota near Fairmont/Sherburn to install, maintain, and troubleshoot services for residential and business customers. Starting pay is $21 per hour with paid training and opportunities for quarterly bonuses as you advance.

No experience needed; the role includes driving a company vehicle, providing safe, professional service, and mentoring teammates. You will work with fiber internet and TV while keeping customers informed and ensuring top value.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; a DUI in the past five years disqualifies.
• Complete Midco First Time Right (FTR) certification within 90 days of hire and apply principles in all aspects of work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate technical evaluations of customer sites for service feasibility and costs.
• Install voice, video, and data services in homes and business locations.
• Troubleshoot and repair services from the tap to CPE and ensure optimal signal levels.
• Coordinate with Field Operations and Business Services to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Promote Midco services and educate customers on proper use and accessibility of features.
• Provide technical support to internal stakeholders regarding network extensions and bury drop requirements.
• Log all work orders and customer interactions to ensure requests are addressed.
