Job summary

Midco is seeking a Field Technician in Minnesota near Fairmont/Sherburn to install, maintain and repair services for residential and business customers. You’ll work with voice, video and data installations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality customer experiences while following safety guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and completion of a training program within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record required.
• Completion of Midco First Time Right (FTR) certification within 90 days of hire and apply principles in all aspects of work.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot services for residential and business customers.
• Perform voice, video, and data installations and service changes/ disconnects.
• Troubleshoot from tap to CPE, ensure signal quality and troubleshoot issues.
• Log all information on work orders, surveys, and referrals.
• Mentor and train teammates and cross-train on additional services.
• Operate a company vehicle according to policies and ensure safety and vehicle upkeep.
