Zusammenfassung

Compucom Systems, Inc. is seeking an IT Field Technician to provide on-site support for Lowe's across multiple Maryland locations. The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, installations, and frequent travel in a fast-paced field environment.

Two weeks of onboarding training are provided, with a company vehicle and necessary tools supplied. Strong customer service skills and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ year IT technical support or field technician experience.
• CompTIA A+ is required; Network+ is a plus.
• Experience with Windows, macOS or Linux environments.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals and IT hardware.
• Experience with copper/fiber cabling is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Provide onsite support for IT equipment including POS systems, desktops, printers, thin clients, access points, and network devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Perform installations, upgrades, and break/fix support.
• Support copper and fiber cabling, including basic terminations.
• Document all work, updates, and resolutions in ticketing systems.
• Travel daily to Lowe's locations for route-based onsite support ( Laurel MD, Catonsville MD, Glen Burnie MD, Columbia MD, Severn MD, Gaithersburg MD, Frederick MD, N. Frederick MD).
• Work with remote teams to resolve escalated technical issues.
• Occasionally work at heights (20-25 feet) and lift up to 25 lbs.
