Job summary

Compucom Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician (Field Tech II) to deliver hands-on IT support for national retail clients.

The role requires travel within a 25–150+ mile radius daily and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment while maintaining exceptional customer service. The position includes triage, troubleshooting, documentation, and timely case closures, with duties covering POS systems, Lexmark printer repair, access point repair, and thin client repair.

Qualifications

• One year IT technical support experience.
• Cash recycler repair experience is highly preferred.
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
• Net+ CompTIA certification preferred.
• Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for national home-improvement retail clients.
• Triage, troubleshoot and resolve IT equipment issues within client scope.
• Document efforts and resolutions, close tickets daily; communicate clearly with customers.
• Repair POS systems, Lexmark printers, access points, and thin clients as required.
