Job summary

Qualifications

• CompTIA A+ (required), Network+ preferred.
• Experience with Windows, macOS, or Linux environments.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals and IT hardware.
• Experience with cabling (copper/fiber) is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for IT equipment including POS systems, desktops, printers, thin clients, access points, and network devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Perform installations, upgrades, and break/fix support.
• Support copper and fiber cabling, including basic terminations.
• Document all work, updates, and resolutions in ticketing systems.
• Travel daily to provide onsite support at Lowe’s locations in SC.
• Work with remote teams to resolve escalated technical issues.
• Occasionally work at heights (20-25 feet) and lift up to 25 lbs.

We’re looking for a Field Tech II to join our team.

IT Field Technician

We will provide onsite technical support for Lowe’s, a national home improvement retail client. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on IT work, troubleshooting, and working in a fast-paced field environment. A company vehicle, fuel card, and necessary tools are provided.

Training

Two weeks of onsite training provided alongside an experienced technician to ensure a smooth onboarding and full familiarity with routes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for IT equipment including POS systems, desktops, printers, thin clients, access points, and network devices

Wage Range

The hourly rate for this position is between $19.00 - $21.00 per hour, unless the local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
