Job summary

Visual Edge IT is seeking a talented copier/printer technician to join our nationwide team. This field-based role includes a company vehicle, comprehensive benefits, and ample growth opportunities.

The Service Technician will maintain and repair client copiers and printers, travel to sites, and complete detailed service documentation while ensuring high uptime and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years industry experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Experience servicing office equipment such as copiers/printers; brand experience a plus.
• Associate degree or higher in electronics/electrical engineering preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of networking and computer systems.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maximize equipment uptime by quick, effective repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on copiers/printers and related devices.
• Diagnose technical issues from feedback, data, and observations.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through clear communication and dependable service.
• Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and staff to meet deadlines.
• Complete service documentation including parts usage, call closures, and meter readings.
• Provide feedback to improve processes and support continuous improvement.
• Some travel is required.
