Job summary

Visual Edge IT, Inc. in Grand Blanc, MI, is seeking a talented Field Service Technician to maintain and service client copiers and printers. This field-based role includes a full training program and a company vehicle to support your daily work.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and document service activities while delivering dependable service and strong customer satisfaction. Prior experience with Xerox, Ricoh, Kyocera, or HP is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude required.
• Experience servicing copiers/printers; Xerox, Ricoh, Kyocera or HP is a plus.
• Associate degree or higher in electronics or electrical engineering preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; company vehicle eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Maximize equipment uptime by responding quickly and completing effective repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on copiers, printers, and related devices.
• Diagnose technical issues using customer feedback, data, and observations.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through clear communication and dependable service.
• Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and internal staff to meet deadlines.
• Complete service documentation, including parts usage and meter readings.
• Provide feedback to improve processes and support continuous improvement.
• Some travel is required.
