Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Construction Materials Tester - CMT Field Technician 2 to perform field testing on heavy civil infrastructure projects. The role requires maintaining accurate test records, operating testing equipment, and ensuring documentation supports project quality standards.

Must have WAQTC In-Place Density and Aggregate testing certifications and ACI Field Testing Grade 1, with 2+ years of field testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately write and submit test reports daily.
• Assist with inspection of Heavy Civil construction.
• Perform a variety of job site tests, record test data, and interpret test results.
• Sample and test Cement, Concrete, and other surfacing materials.
• Sample and perform aggregate tests such as sieve analysis, sand equivalent, and moisture content.
• Use nuclear gauge to test densities of asphalt, concrete, surfacing, and earthwork.
• Write and receive tickets for measurements of materials.
