Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Construction Materials Tester - CMT Field Technician 2 to deliver accurate, defensible materials testing and documentation for heavy civil infrastructure projects. Minimum certification required: ACI Field Testing Grade 1 and WAQTC In-Place Density.

You'll perform field tests, sample cement, concrete, aggregates, write test reports, and travel as needed across Western Washington, with at least 2+ years of experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately write and submit test reports daily.
• Assist with inspection of Heavy Civil construction.
• Perform a variety of job site tests, record test data, and interpret test results.
• Sample and test Cement, Concrete, and other surfacing materials.
• Sample and perform aggregate tests such as sieve analysis, sand equivalent, and moisture content.
• Use nuclear gauge to test densities of asphalt, concrete, surfacing, and earthwork.
• Write and receive tickets for measurements of materials.
