Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Construction Materials Tester - CMT Field Technician 2 to join our team in Washington. You will perform materials testing on cement, concrete, and surfacing, document results, and support heavy civil projects in a fast-paced field environment.

Expect to hold WAQTC density and aggregate certifications, plus ACI Field Testing Grade 1, with 2+ years of experience and proficiency in MS Office. Per diem travel and on-site responsibilities are required.

Qualifications

• WAQTC in-place density and aggregate testing certifications.
• ACI Certification Field Testing Grade 1.
• 2+ years of construction materials testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Write and submit test reports daily.
• Assist with inspection of Heavy Civil construction.
• Test cement, concrete, and surfacing materials.
• Test aggregates (sieve analysis, sand equivalent, moisture).
• Use nuclear gauge to test densities of asphalt, concrete, surfacing, and earthwork.
• Write and receive tickets for measurements of materials.
