Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Construction Materials Tester - CMT Field Technician 2 to deliver accurate, defensible materials testing for heavy civil projects. Minimum certifications include ACI Field Testing Grade 1 and WAQTC In-Place Density.

You will write daily test reports, test cement, concrete, aggregates, and densities, and travel to project sites across Western Washington as needed. This role requires physical endurance and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction materials testing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Accurately write and submit test reports daily.
• Assist with inspection of Heavy Civil construction.
• Perform a variety of site tests and record data.
• Sample and test cement, concrete, and surfacing materials.
• Sample aggregate tests (sieve, sand equivalent, moisture).
• Use nuclear gauge to test densities of asphalt, concrete, and earthwork.
• Write and receive tickets for material measurements.
