Job summary

Atlas is recruiting a Construction Materials Tester - CMT Field Technician 2 to support heavy civil infrastructure projects. The role requires ACI Field Testing Grade 1 and WAQTC In-Place Density certifications, plus 2+ years of hands-on materials testing experience.

You will perform sieve analysis, moisture tests, density testing with a nuclear gauge, and generate accurate test reports daily. Ideal candidates will have proficiency with MS Office, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction materials testing experience.
• WAQTC in-place density and aggregate testing certifications.
• ACI Certification field testing Grade 1.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Write and submit test reports daily.
• Assist with inspection of Heavy Civil construction.
• Perform various field tests, record data, and interpret results.
• Sample and test Cement, Concrete, and surfacing materials.
• Sample and test aggregates (sieve analysis, sand equivalent, moisture).
• Use nuclear gauge to test densities of asphalt, concrete, surfacing, and earthwork.
• Create and process tickets for material measurements.
