Job summary

Tech Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair, install and maintain commercial security systems in the Boston area.

You will work on access control, video surveillance, intrusion, and related systems at client sites, ensuring timely response and full functionality. The role requires at least two years of experience in security systems, networking skills, and programming of access/video systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least two (2) years prior work experience in commercial security systems installation or service.
• Must have networking skills and 1-year experience programming access and video systems.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service calls within their area within guaranteed response times and aims to restore systems to full functionality.
• Installs systems according to Tech Systems Installation Standards.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and schematics.
• Ensures tasks comply with company policies and procedures.
• Identifies revisions, upgrades, and installs independently.
• Communicates with Customer Service regarding status and progress.
