Job summary

Tech Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician for Commercial Security Systems in Charleston, SC.

You will repair, install and maintain access control, video security, intrusion, alarm, infant protection, and intercom systems at client sites, ensuring rapid response and full functionality. This role requires 2+ years in commercial security installations or service, networking skills, and experience programming access and video systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in commercial security systems installation or service.
• Networking skills and 1 year programming access and video systems.
• Factory/internal security system certifications to work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and IT basics.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within guaranteed response times to restore systems.
• Install systems per Tech Systems Installation Standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Update tickets and communicate status to the team.
• Maintain inventory and resources in possession.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections.
