Job summary

SITECH Northwest is seeking a Technical Service Technician to be the first point of contact for support and field services in Fairbanks, Alaska. The role focuses on installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of Trimble 2D/3D technology products at customer sites.

The technician will gather critical job-site data, coordinate with NC Machinery staff, and provide timely technical resolutions while conveying product features to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in land surveying or construction with heavy machinery preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform service work on customers' equipment including diagnostics, testing, repair, calibration, upgrading and cleaning.
• Provide support and troubleshooting to customer and service technicians; answer questions and resolve issues with NC Machinery staff.
• Provide technical support as needed for prompt, accurate resolution of complex issues.
• Escalate unresolved customer and service technician issues.
• Demonstrate and describe core product functions to advise customers on best solutions.
• Capture all pertinent customer information including PO numbers, job site data, serial numbers, firmware, warranty, and upgrade codes.
