Job summary

AMETEK Inc. is seeking a Technical Service Representative to join our U.S. Tech Service Team, servicing customers across the Southeast. This role involves on-site installation, maintenance, problem solving, and calibration of technology products with heavy travel to client sites.

You will report in a decentralized structure, maintain service records, prepare quotes and reports, and support ongoing product improvements through accurate documentation and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or related tech experience.
• Experience reading schematics and working with high voltage equipment.
• Proficient with MS Office and able to navigate systems and applications.
• Valid driver's license; passport may be required.
• Willingness to travel extensively between locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests on instruments and components to verify operation and diagnose malfunctions.
• Consult with operators to identify problems and replace faulty parts or adjust software.
• Align and calibrate equipment per Atlas specifications and standards.
• Provide training on operation, maintenance, calibration, and warranty issues.
• Prepare quotes, service reports, and manage warranty terms.
• Create and maintain service records and calibration documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure up-to-date calibration records.
• Perform work in accordance with Atlas processes and quality standards.
