Job summary

SITECH Pacific in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a skilled Field Technician to install, support, and troubleshoot Trimble Machine Control Technology and related construction solutions on heavy equipment sites.

You will perform preventative maintenance, on-site repairs, calibration, and customer training while building strong relationships through professional service and technical expertise. Travel to customer sites and occasional weekends are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Experience with Trimble or similar construction technology solutions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Trimble machine control technology and related construction systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on technology equipment per service requirements.
• Provide onsite customer support, repairs for electrical, mechanical components and wiring.
• Lead technology system installations, including calibration and customer training.
• Diagnose and resolve basic electrical, mechanical, and tech issues in the field.
• Read electrical schematics and apply basic circuit theory to troubleshoot equipment.
• Travel to customer sites and occasionally work weekends as needed.
