Harnish Group Inc. is seeking a Technical Service Technician based in Fairbanks, Alaska to be the first call for support and technical services on Trimble 2D/3D technology products.

You will perform installation, calibration, and troubleshooting, deliver clear explanations of machine control and site positioning solutions, and capture essential customer data.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in land surveying or construction with heavy machinery operation preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Perform service work on customers' equipment including diagnostics, testing, repair, calibration, upgrading and cleaning.
• Provide support and troubleshooting to customer and service technicians. Answer questions and resolve issues involving the appropriate NC Machinery staff.
• Provide technical support as needed for prompt, accurate resolution of unique or complex issues.
• Escalate unresolved customer and service technician issues.
• Be able to demonstrate and describe the functions and features of the core products and supplies in the store in order to advise customers on the best solutions for their businesses.
• Capture all pertinent customer information including, but not limited to, purchase orders, job site information, serial numbers, firmware version, warranty information, and upgrade codes.

The Technical Service Technician is the first-call for support and technical services. This position will be based in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Hourly Range: $34.90 - 46.60 per hour (based on skills & experience)

• Installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of 2D/3D technology products that are available through Trimble.
• Success in this position is heavily dependent upon the ability to understand, apply, and communicate machine control and site positioning technology solutions.
