Job summary

Midco is seeking a Field Technician in Minnesota to install, maintain, and troubleshoot services for residential and business customers. You will work with cutting-edge technology to deliver exceptional customer experiences and ensure value for customers.

No experience needed, paid training, and a $2,500 hiring bonus are offered. The role features advancement opportunities with pay increases and quarterly bonuses, plus benefits and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Complete Midco First Time Right (FTR) certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate technical evaluations of properties for service feasibility and costs.
• Perform voice, video, and data installations and service changes at homes and businesses.
• Troubleshoot and repair services from tap to CPE and ensure signal quality.
• Act as liaison between Field Operations and Business Services to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Promote Midco services and educate customers on usage and additional services.
• Provide technical support to internal stakeholders regarding network extensions.
• Deliver high-quality service, address concerns promptly, and handle challenging situations.
• Log information on work orders and referrals to track customer interactions.
• Mentor and train teammates and cross-train on other services.
• Maintain a clean work site and perform on-call duties as required.
• Enforce safety procedures and operate equipment safely.
• Drive and maintain a company vehicle in compliance with policies.
• Represent Midco's mission and values in all interactions.
• Respect customer privacy according to Midco guidelines.
