Job summary

Cardinal Infrastructure Group is seeking an experienced Recruiting Specialist to own full-cycle recruitment for field and craft roles across designated North Carolina markets. You will partner with hiring managers to build requisitions, post and source candidates, screen against role requirements, and coordinate interviews for timely decisions.

The role emphasizes a hands-on execution approach, ensuring new hires are prepared for day one and handed off to HR for onboarding, while adhering to EEO

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience across construction, industrial, mining, or heavy civil sectors.
• Experience recruiting for field/craft or skilled trade roles alongside corporate roles.
• Working knowledge of employment law (EEO, ADA, FCRA, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout assigned North Carolina markets.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to build requisitions from role descriptions and post/manage on job boards.
• Source and screen candidates; schedule/interview coordination; maintain pipelines for high-volume roles.
• Ensure smooth onboarding handoff and coordinate with HR for offer development and background checks.
• Maintain compliance with EEO and employment law; track recruiting metrics for assigned markets.
