bioMérieux seeks a Field Systems Engineer to service instruments across California and nationally. This role supports installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs with remote work and overnight travel on short notice.

The position emphasizes customer experience, service revenue, and cross-functional collaboration with sales and applications teams. Requires a engineering degree or equivalent experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 6+ years relevant experience in electro-mechanical systems.
• Valid driver's license required and ability to travel up to 90%.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Promote service agreements and identify sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with service and support teams to drive revenue.
• Attend product training and complete QA checklists on time.
• Maintain an up-to-date travel calendar and submit expense reports.
