Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician through the DOD SkillBridge program in Myrtle Beach, SC. The role primarily involves fieldwork on boundary, construction, topo, and ALTA surveys, using Trimble and GPS equipment, under supervision of senior crew chiefs.

The program offers immersive 3-month experiences with opportunities to interact with staff, landowners, and contractors. Relocation not included; candidates must be US authorized to work and own transportation.

Qualifications

Must be a Military Service Member with 180 days of service or fewer remaining before separation date.
Must be able to work in extended outdoor conditions and be physically capable of navigating rugged terrain.
General knowledge of land surveying and AutoCAD drafting preferred.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable; own transportation; travel reimbursements; motor vehicle record check on-boarding

Responsibilities

You will assist with boundary surveys, construction staking, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and GPS data collection
You will be on construction staking
You will be gaining experience with Trimble, Robotic Total Station, and GPS equipment
This position will interact with staff, landowners, contractors, and subcontractors
