Job summary

KLA in Beaverton, OR is seeking a Customer Support Engineer to deliver high-impact service for complex capital equipment at customer sites. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and preventing downtime through on-site and remote support, with cross-functional collaboration across the service team.

You will spend about half your time at customer sites and half in the office, handling quotes, documenting field activity, and ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive service and timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Ability to troubleshoot software/electronics and related systems.
• Good interpersonal/communication skills and ability to work under pressure with tight timelines.
• Must complete ongoing technical training for company equipment and diagnostics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems at customer sites.
• Repair and modify equipment at customer facility.
• Prepare quotes for service work including labor, travel and parts.
• Coordinate with Installation Engineers on site installations.
• Spend approximately 50% of time at customer sites and 50% in the office.
