Job summary

KLA Beaverton, OR is seeking a Field Service position focused on servicing, repair, and installation of company products in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes strong communication and problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction.

You will diagnose issues across mechanical, hardware, software, and systems, provide shift coverage at customer sites, and coordinate data collection to guide repair steps. Relevant mechatronics or electronics coursework is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Experience with maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting.
• User level experience with Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills.
• Mechatronics, chemistry, and electronics experience or coursework is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site or in-house servicing, repair, and/or installation of company products.
• This job may include any aspect of field support, and is not limited to system hardware and software, PC’s, and networking/wireless networking.
• Serves as customer contact on technical and service-related problems.
• Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures, using established procedures.
• Provide shift coverage to respond and recover critical systems at our customer locations
• Coordinate troubleshooting and data collection as part of the service organization
• Assures operational updates of KLA equipment are provided with clear status reporting to facilitate next steps in repair and recovery
• Represents the company to the customer and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction with KLA.
