Zusammenfassung

KLA Corporation is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site maintenance and repairs of semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites in Hillsboro, OR. You will diagnose issues, perform corrective actions, and participate in ongoing training to deepen product knowledge and field troubleshooting capabilities.

You will prepare field service reports, assist in quotes, and collaborate with installation engineers and cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and ensure equipment

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in electronics / electro-mechanical discipline or equivalent military training.
• Able to work in a clean room environment with PPE.
• Frequently position oneself (bend, stoop, reach, walk, sit, twist, squat, kneel, climb, stand) for extended periods.
• International and domestic travel is required.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including overtime and on-call if needed.

Aufgaben

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-site repairs of KLA equipment.
• Drive corrective actions and isolate issues to minimize downtime.
• Complete ongoing technical training to advance product/diagnostic knowledge.
• Prepare field service reports and share insights with support teams.
• Assist in creating quotes for equipment repairs based on parts and time.
• Represent KLA as a subject matter expert and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with customers to minimize downtime and ensure system quality.
• Support Installation/Upgrade Engineers in startup and relocation tasks.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and share knowledge across teams.
• Capture and reuse knowledge via available systems to improve service.
