Allied Universal is hiring a Field Supervisor to oversee on-site security operations across client sites in the Austin area. The role includes managing staffing, scheduling, on-site training, and ensuring adherence to contract requirements and quality standards.

The position requires at least one year of supervisory security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass licensing or state tests as needed. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass state-required training or licensing.
• Must pass a state licensing test if driving company-owned or client-provided vehicle.
• Minimum one year verifiable supervisory experience in security-related industry.
• Associate's degree or higher in any discipline.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Operate radio/telephone equipment or console monitors.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to assess situations quickly and accurately; good data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site security operations, including staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for Allied Universal personnel.
• Ensure contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel are met.
• Maintain overtime at a minimal level as designated by AUS.
• Inspect security personnel and performance to ensure service quality and contract compliance.
• Handle payroll, review incident reports, and assist in security surveys and post orders.
• Provide direction to subordinates and resolve disciplinary actions or commendations.
• Respond to client requests and make emergency notifications as necessary.
• Recommend productivity and cost-reduction measures to management.
