Job summary

Dashiell, part of Quanta Services, seeks a Field Supervisor to lead multi-project field testing, commissioning, and maintenance operations from the Deer Park, TX site. You will manage schedules, budgets, and revenue targets while ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction across concurrent engagements.

You may perform hands-on electrical testing as needed and report to the VP of Field Services. Strong supervisory, PM, and HV testing expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in high-voltage electrical testing and commissioning with supervisory/PM capability.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with scope, schedule, and budget accountability.
• Advanced ability to read/interpret electrical drawings and protection schemes.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage multiple concurrent Field Service projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Monitor project financials and protect margins; take corrective action as needed.
• Plan/allocate field crew resources, equipment, and materials across projects for productivity.
• Represent the company in client meetings, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction at program level.
• Provide technical direction and training to field staff; support workforce development.
• Enforce safety, quality, and operational standards across projects; ensure QA/QC of deliverables.
• Lead JSTAs, safety briefings, and incident reporting per company protocols.
• Review test reports and commissioning documentation; ensure compliance with client specs.
• Conduct testing/commissioning of power apparatus (transformers, breakers, switchgear).
• Support proposal/estimating teams with technical input on scope, durations, equipment needs.
