Job summary

Dashiell, an operating unit of Quanta Services, seeks a Field Supervisor to oversee multi‑project field testing, commissioning, and maintenance for high‑voltage electrical infrastructure. Based in Fitchburg, WI, you will manage schedules, budgets, and revenue targets while ensuring safety and client satisfaction across concurrent engagements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field; equivalent field experience may be considered (2 years for Associate’s, 4 years for Bachelor’s).
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in high-voltage electrical testing and commissioning with supervisory/project management capability.
• Proficient in electrical testing/commissioning, including protective relay testing and full system commissioning.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with scope/schedule/budget and revenue oversight.
• Experience in field crew management, resource planning, and workforce development.
• Strong understanding of project financials including revenue recognition, cost tracking, and margins.
• Ability to read complex electrical diagrams and review commissioning documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong client-facing communication; willingness to travel.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E and OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise multiple concurrent Field Service projects ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Maintain accountability for revenue and project profitability; monitor financials and take corrective action.
• Plan and allocate field crew resources, equipment, and materials across projects.
• Represent the company in client meetings and ensure professional communication and client satisfaction.
• Provide technical direction, training, and performance feedback to field staff; support workforce development.
• Enforce safety, quality, and operational standards across projects.
• Review test reports and commissioning documentation for quality and accuracy.
• Perform electrical testing and commissioning activities as required, including protective relay and power apparatus testing.
• Direct and oversee testing of power transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and station auxiliary systems.
• Support proposals with technical input on testing scope, crew requirements, durations, and equipment needs.
