GBA Builders is seeking a Field Superintendent to oversee field operations, safety, and quality across projects, typically under $5 million, with potential full project oversight on smaller scopes. You will manage trades, documentation, and schedule impacts while ensuring adherence to contracts and safety standards.

The role requires travel to various U.S. job sites, a BS in construction-related field or equivalent, OSHA 30-hour certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering plus 3+ years field experience.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required; First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication with field partners and teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate construction activities and logistics on jobsites.
• Communicate with contractors on ASIs, RFIs, submittals, and docs.
• Ensure subcontractors meet safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Manage quality-control for materials and work.
• Coordinate inspections with jurisdictions and inspectors.
• Maintain daily logs and photo records; track schedule impacts.
• Create weekly look-ahead schedules covering at least three weeks.
• Lead daily huddles and weekly coordination meetings.
• Travel to jobsites; drive company vehicle as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
