Job summary

GBA Builders seeks a Field Superintendent to drive on-site execution across projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely deliveries. You will manage trades, coordinate subs, and uphold field standards while traveling to sites nationwide.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction-related field with 5+ years of experience, OSHA-30, and strong communication. Expect dynamic, hands-on project oversight and frequent site travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• OSHA-30 certification is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools: pull-planning, MS Project, and look-ahead schedules.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
• Ability to coordinate safely with on-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate field activities, logistics, and personnel.
• Communicate with contractors on ASIs, RFIs, submittals, and docs.
• Ensure subs perform to contracted scope with safety and quality.
• Manage quality control for materials and work in place.
• Coordinate inspections with local authorities and inspectors.
• Develop 3-week look-ahead schedules and distribute.
• Lead Daily Huddle and weekly coordination meetings.
• Travel to job sites and operate company vehicle as needed.
