Job summary

GBA Builders is seeking a Field Engineer to support our Field Operations team. You’ll coordinate daily construction activities, promote jobsite safety, maintain project documentation, and support project delivery across the United States.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in construction management or engineering with 1–4 years of experience, OSHA 30-hour certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. This role requires travel to project sites, with home time every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field with 1–4 years of experience.
• OSHA 30-hour certification.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce the project site Health and Safety program.
• Assist with job hazard analyses, safety reviews, and training initiatives.
• Support supervision and coordination of subcontractors and vendors.
• Order materials and schedule deliveries to align with project schedules.
• Prepare detailed work plans and work packages.
• Assist with quality assurance, equipment scheduling, and interpretation of drawings/specifications.
• Verify quantity calculations and support field surveying and layout.
• Maintain labor timekeeping and project records.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings and support leadership as needed.
• Travel to job sites and support field operations.
