Job summary

GBA Builders in Northern Virginia seeks a Field Superintendent to oversee project execution, safety, quality, and subcontractor coordination. The role supports field operations, prepares daily logs, and manages look-ahead schedules, with travel to job sites across the United States.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in construction management or related field with 3+ years of experience and OSHA 30-hour certification; First Aid/CPR is a plus. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to coordinate with trade partners.
• Knowledge of pull planning and short-term look-ahead scheduling.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate construction activities, including jobsite operations and field support.
• Communicate with contractors on ASIs, RFIs, submittals, and documentation.
• Ensure subcontractors meet safety, quality, and scope requirements.
• Maintain daily log and photo record of progress and site conditions.
• Create and distribute weekly three-week look-ahead schedules.
• Lead daily huddles and weekly coordination meetings.
