Job summary

Kiewit Foundations Co. seeks a Superintendent to lead on-site field operations, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and cost targets. You will set high expectations for crews and guide project teams on geotechnical and foundation work across North America.

The role requires strong communication, technical grounding in specialty foundations, and the ability to mentor staff while delivering projects on time and within budget. Omaha-based opportunity with significant project scope.

Qualifications

• 6+ years planning, scheduling and management of deep foundation and/or ground improvement operations.
• 3+ years supervisory experience as a superintendent.
• Solid knowledge of ground improvement techniques, deep foundations and SOE operations.
• Experience with foundation/ground improvement equipment and troubleshooting.
• Must be a self-starter, highly motivated with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and grow Jr. Superintendents.
• Review and approve labor rates for Foremen, journeymen, and laborers.
• Manage contract administration and client communications.
• Develop client-relations plans and attend meetings for planning.
• Oversee monthly cost updates and cash flow projections.
• Review, approve or negotiate change orders.
• Plan project completion and turnover.
• Maintain daily diary and timely evaluations for direct reports.
• Recommend organizational or procedural improvements.
• Review promotions up to General Foremen.
