Job summary

Avery Weigh-Tronix in the United States seeks a technically skilled support regional lead to drive territory growth through advanced on-site and telephone support, product upgrades, and training. You will work with distributors, resolve complex issues, and help expand sales with proactive service and effective problem resolution.

The role requires mechanical, electrical, and software troubleshooting ability, strong customer service, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years in Technical Support, Engineering, and/or QA.
• Mechanical, Electrical, and Software aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Proactive with initiative and strong customer service.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Pivot, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and public presentation skills.
• Experience in business planning and sales strategy development.
• Ability to deliver technical training seminars on electronic products.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, face-to-face or virtual, to support capabilities of distribution sales and service teams.
• Offer technical troubleshooting (phone and on-site) to distributors; act as primary escalation for advanced product support.
• Resolve equipment and service performance issues; develop proactive solutions to grow sales in the territory.
• Support product upgrades, retrofits, and rollouts; assist with training feedback for documentation updates.
• Manage territory sales reporting and periodic regional sales outlooks; review financial data to inform plans.
