Job summary

Axon is seeking a senior, customer-facing leader for an embedded strategic-account role in Kansas. You will own the full lifecycle of Axon’s ecosystem on-site, shaping outcomes, adoption, and long-term success with agency stakeholders.

You will design and deploy AI-powered workflows, coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Sales, and drive field-ready solutions while maintaining security and compliance across mission-critical deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing technical roles, program management, operational transformation, or complex deployment environments (8+ years).
• Former law enforcement or military experience preferred, not required.
• Proven builder: shipped automations, agents, workflows, integrations, or AI-enabled tools in customer environments.
• Comfort working across hardware, software, cloud, AI-enabled technologies, and integrated systems.
• Strong communication with technical teams and senior stakeholders in mission-critical environments.
• Ownership mindset in ambiguous, fast-changing environments with competing priorities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS compliance and adhere to security standards.

Responsibilities

• Discover agency problems onsite and translate them into buildable, compliant solutions tied to mission outcomes.
• Design and ship working tools on Axon’s platform: AI agents, workflows, automations, integrations, and data pipelines.
• Configure, integrate, and extend DEMS, Fusus, AI Era, Records, and related systems in the agency environment.
• Iterate in the field until adoption sticks and document patterns for reuse across accounts.
• Apply responsible innovation guardrails - CJIS, privacy - in every build; ship working software.
• Troubleshoot onsite and coordinate root-cause resolution across Product, Engineering, Support, and Services.
• AI Build & Adoption: Build and deploy AI-powered workflows solving defined agency problems; drive adoption.
• Measure usage, workflow impact, and mission outcomes; iterate when changes don’t stick.
• Operational Transformation & Leadership: Assess workflows onsite and define what to build before building.
• Build trusted relationships with agency leadership; lead QBRs and strategic planning.
