Job summary

Realm Alliance is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to serve as the technical contact for customers in the field, owning integrations and onsite deployment work. You will translate real-world needs into scalable technical solutions and prototype tools to support mission-critical environments.

This deeply technical role emphasizes field work, collaboration with customer teams, and rapid delivery of robust integrations across cameras, IoT, and data pipelines. Remote-friendly with global reach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering or forward deployed / mission operations experience

Responsibilities

• Spend ~25% of your time onsite with customers across the US
• Build a ground-truth understanding of customer operations and workflows
• Rapidly prototype tools and integrations in the field to validate ideas
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex operational or systems issues
• Translate field insights into technical requirements and integration specs for engineering
• Lead all technical integration work including APIs, data pipelines, hardware/software interfaces and security setups
• Represent customer realities internally to ensure feasibility and reliability
