Job summary

Realm Alliance is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to be the technical point of contact for customers in the field, owning integrations and onsite deployment work. You will translate real-world needs into scalable technical solutions, prototype tools rapidly, and troubleshoot across diverse industrial environments.

This highly technical role emphasizes strong coding, collaboration with engineering, and deep field experience with enterprise or government‑critical products.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering or forward deployed / mission operations experience.
• Strong technical fluency and ability to work closely with engineers—able to read, write, and debug code to build prototypes.
• Excellent collaboration and communication, with the ability to work with enterprise, government, or defense‑critical products.

Responsibilities

• Spend ~25% of your time onsite with customers across the US.
• Prototype tools and integrations in the field to validate ideas and feasibility.
• Troubleshoot complex operational or systems issues in varied environments.
• Translate field insights into clear technical requirements for the engineering team.
• Lead all technical integration work, including APIs and data pipelines.
