Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Solution Engineer to join their field service team in the Midwest region. The role focuses on integrating hardware and software for Electrical Power Monitoring and the setup of Sm@rtGear equipment.

Travel up to 80% across the US is required; a BS in Electrical/Manufacturing/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience is needed, along with the ability to work without sponsorship. Experience with PLC programming and tools such as WinPM.Net, Power Monitoring Expert,

Qualifications

BS in Electrical, Manufacturing, or Computer Engineering (or 4 years related field service power distribution experience).
Ability to travel 80% across the US.
Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Implements hardware and software for energy management/monitoring solutions and Sm@rtGear.
Understands and applies safety procedures.
Follows standard project documentation for completion.
Identifies problems and takes proactive steps to solve them.
Performs basic tasks for professional field work.
Prepares explanations to interpret specifications and data.
