Job summary

Siemens seeks a Solution Engineer to join the Field Service team in the Midwest region. You will implement hardware and software for energy management and Sm@rtGear, and assist in commissioning electrical apparatus.

The role requires up to 80% travel across the US, independent work with cross-functional teams, and adherence to safety and documentation standards. Siemens offers growth within a global technology leader.

Qualifications

Must have BS in Electrical, Manufacturing or Computer Engineering or 4 years field service power distribution experience in lieu of a degree.
Must be able to travel 80% across the US.
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Implements hardware and software for energy management/monitoring solutions and Sm@rtGear.
Understands and applies safety procedures.
Follows basic standard project documentation for project completion.
Identifies problems as they occur and takes proactive steps to solve them.
Independently performs basic tasks and functions for professional field work.
Prepare explanations to enable proper interpretation/evaluation of specifications, performance characteristics, or other technical data.
