Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Solution Engineer to join its field service team in the Midwest region. The role focuses on integrating hardware and software for electrical power monitoring and commissioning Sm@rtGear devices.

You will support energy management solutions and remote monitoring deployments across multiple sites. Qualified candidates will have a relevant engineering degree or equivalent field experience, strong PLC programming skills, and solid electrical troubleshooting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in Electrical, Manufacturing, or Computer Engineering or 4 years field service power distribution experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% across the US.
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Implements hardware and software for energy management and monitoring solutions, including Sm@rtGear.
• Follows safety procedures and standard project documentation.
• Identifies problems and takes proactive steps to resolve them.
• Performs basic field tasks independently and supports commissioning activities.
