Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Solution Engineer to join the growing team in the North East region. You will integrate hardware and software for Electrical Power Monitoring and oversee the setup and commissioning of Sm@rtGear electrical apparatus.

The role requires a BS in Electrical/Manufacturing/Computer Engineering or equivalent field service experience, and travel up to 80% across the United States. You will work with WinPM.Net, Power Monitoring Expert, PowerScada and PowerXpert tools to monitor,

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Computer Engineering or 4 years of field service power distribution engineering experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• Willingness to travel 80% across the US.
• Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Implements hardware and software for energy management/monitoring solutions and Sm@rtGear
• Understands and applies safety procedures.
• Follows basic standard project documentation for project completion.
• Identifies problems as they occur and takes proactive steps to solve them.
• Independently performs basic tasks and functions for professional field work.
• Prepare explanations to enable proper interpretation/evaluation of specifications, performance characteristics, or other technical data.
