Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Solution Engineer to join their Field Service team in the Midwest region, supporting energy management and Sm@rtGear deployments. You will integrate hardware and software, perform setup and commissioning, and ensure safe, reliable operation of power monitoring solutions across customer sites.

Travel up to 80% across the US is required. A BS in electrical/related engineering or equivalent field service experience is needed, along with strong communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field, or 4 years field service power distribution experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% across the US.
• Legal to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Implements hardware and software for energy management/monitoring solutions and Sm@rtGear.
• Understands and applies safety procedures.
• Follows standard project documentation for completion.
• Identifies problems as they occur and takes proactive steps to solve them.
• Independently performs basic tasks and functions for field work.
• Prepare explanations to enable proper interpretation of specifications and data.
