DCM Tech Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to drive revenue through direct customer engagement, develop technical solutions, and own the sales process from discovery to order close.

You will serve as the technical authority in customer conversations and convert qualified prospects into customers with application-driven solutions. Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in technical sales, sales engineering, or applications engineering within industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Bachelor degree in engineering, engineering technology, or related technical field preferred.
• Proven ability to close complex, application-driven equipment sales.
• Strong business judgment, negotiation skills, and commercial acumen.
• Ability to work independently and manage a territory or book of business.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end sales process for assigned territories/accounts from lead qualification through order close.
• Conduct in-depth customer discovery to identify application requirements and drivers.
• Develop and propose technical solutions including machine selection, process development, tooling, and automation recommendations.
• Lead customer demonstrations, site visits, and technical presentations to advance opportunities.
• Establish pricing recommendations and negotiate within guidelines to close orders.
• Forecast sales activity and pipeline performance; provide updates to leadership.
• Travel extensively to customer sites, tradeshows, and industry events.
• Serve as primary customer owner through the sales cycle, coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and service teams.
• Gather market and customer intelligence to influence product strategy and priorities.
• Represent DCM as a trusted technical and commercial partner in the marketplace.
