Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Solutions Specialist to support automation systems across the Southwest region, focusing on cobas 8100 and related workflows.

You will collaborate with ISAs, FAS, FES, and other teams, provide expert guidance on workflow optimization, and ensure smooth post-go-live operations. The role is field-based with significant travel, ideally based near a major airport in Phoenix or Dallas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, IT, CS, chemistry, biology or clinical laboratory or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience implementing and evaluating complex laboratory IT products.
• Experience supporting Roche automation solutions or equivalent platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the regional workflow, application, and automation expert for Roche automation systems.
• Provide consultative guidance on workflow, specimen flow, efficiency, middleware integration and application use.
• Perform workflow assessments and lead optimization activities post-implementation.
• Coordinate cross-functional regional automation support activities with ISAs, FAS, FES, and others.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of automation software functionality and route issues appropriately.
• Support implementation teams during planning, validation, readiness, education, and transition to long-term ownership.
• Lead post-go-live workflow ownership and ongoing support for cobas 8100 and RDA systems.
