Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. in Rogers, TX, is seeking a Solar Technician I to support the operation and maintenance of the Sypert Branch Solar Site.

You will assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining PV inverters, solar panels, and tracking systems, using SCADA, Maximo, and SAP to manage work orders and report activities. This field role requires safety discipline, willingness for on-call duties, and the ability to work outdoors in extreme weather.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in electrical theory or related technical program.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics; understanding AC/DC electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on photovoltaic inverters, solar panels, and tracking systems.
• Operate hand tools and electrical testing equipment safely.
• Create and close-out work orders in Maximo; document activities.
• Conduct site safety orientations for OEMs, ISPs, vendors, and visitors.
• Maintain parts and tooling inventory.
