Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking a Solar Technician I for the Sypert Branch Solar Site in Rogers, TX. You will support operation and maintenance of solar facilities, troubleshoot inverters, panels, and tracking systems, and manage work orders in Maximo using SCADA and SAP.

You must reside within 50 miles, be willing to on-call for outages, and travel domestically to support ENGIE’s renewable modalities. Field-based role with outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Requires technical program diploma/certification with AC/DC electrical theory.
• Reading electrical schematics and blueprints is required.
• Willingness for on-call duties and travel within the US.

Responsibilities

• Complete permits to work and LOTO procedures.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair photovoltaic inverters and solar arrays.
• Operate hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Create and close-out work orders in Maximo.
